Japanese Bondage with Hajime Kinoko (Tokio)
Hajime Kinoko is a young and extremely talented rigger from Tokio who excels in the traditional style, but also raises attention through innovative ideas and contemporary interpretations. This spring he caused a furore at the London Festival of Japanese Bondage as well as at the BoundCom, Munich. He masters not only an excellent technique but also convinces as a highly present performer in dramatic live acts. Notwithstanding a distinct feel for form and aesthetics, for Kinoko the rope is only a means to an end: for him the essence of Shibari is revealed in the elegance and beauty of suffering.

Hajime Kinoko ist ein junger, äusserst talentierter Rigger aus Tokio der im traditionellen Stil brilliert aber auch durch Innovationen und zeitgenössische Interpretationen auf sich aufmerksam machte. Er sorgte dieses Frühjahr sowohl beim London Festival of Japanese Bondage als auch auf der Münchner BoundCom für Aufsehen. Er beherrscht nicht nur eine exzellente Technik sondern überzeugt auch als präsenter Performer mit dramatischen Auftritten. Trotz eines ausgeprägten Gefühls für Form und Ästhetik ist das Seil für ihn immer nur Mittel zum Zweck: die Essenz von Japanischer Bondage zeigt sich für ihn in Eleganz und Schönheit des Leidens. SLEEPING: We can accomodate workshop participants in our Guest apartment or in special sleeping cocoons in the studio. The cost is from 10 EUR a night per person.
